Zainspirowana książką The Americans Roberta Franka, Polacy to książka stworzona w 2025 roku po moim powrocie do Polski po 20 latach życia za granicą. Podróżując po kraju przez cały rok, fotografowałem spontaniczne spotkania z ludźmi w różnych regionach, koncentrując się na portretach i scenach ulicznych. Projekt tworzy intymny, skoncentrowany na człowieku portret współczesnej Polski, ukształtowany przez moją pozycję jednocześnie Polaka, ale też kogoś z zewnątrz, kto odkrywa ten kraj na nowo. Projekt został sfinansowany ze środków Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego.

Inspired by Robert Frank’s The Americans, Polacy is a book created in 2025 after I returned to Poland following 20 years of living abroad. Moving through the country throughout the entire year, I photographed spontaneous encounters with people across different regions, focusing on portraits and street scenes rather than places. The project forms an intimate, human-centered portrait of contemporary Poland, shaped by my position as both insider and outsider. The project was funded by a grant from the Polish Ministry of Culture.
